ABOUT ARTIST
Satyanarayana Gavara was born in the year 1997 in Narayanpuram, Balijipeta, Vizianagram district, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his Graduation with a Bachelors's of Fine Arts from the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in 2018. He is currently a Postgraduate student at the Department of Graphics, MSU of Baroda. He has attended many workshops and Art Camps across India. In 2018 he received the first Print Biennale India Grand Prize Award at Lalit Kala Akademi, Rabindra Bhavan, New Delhi. He also received the second prize at the All India Art Competition And Exhibition 2019, in its Second Edition, Hyderabad. He recently attended the “National Woodcut Printmaking Camp of Young Contemporary Printmakers in Udaipur, Rajasthan in 2020.
